1. Baking Soda, Yogurt, Lemon Juice, and Egg Mix
Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 egg and ¼ cup of low-fat plain yogurt. Apply to your face, and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and finish it up with cold water to ensure your pores are sealed. Pat your face dry. Apply this twice a week for optimal results.
2. Baking Soda and Water
Mix ½ teaspoon of baking soda and ½ teaspoon of distilled water to create a paste. Apply the mixture to the problem area for five minutes. Wash off the paste with water. This concoction may be used once a day for as long as you find necessary. This one is definitely the easiest from the baking soda face masks list.
3. Baking Soda, Honey, and Lemon
Take 1 to 2 tablespoons of baking soda and mix with half a lemon and a teaspoon of honey. If the mixture is too runny, try adding more baking soda until the mixture gets a paste-like consistency. Using a circular motion, apply the mix to the face and leave it for 5 to 15 minutes. Remove the baking soda face mask using a warm washcloth. Follow it up with a washcloth dipped in the coldest water available.
4. Baking Soda with Tomato
Mix 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed tomato juice to baking soda that is just enough to create a paste. Apply the baking soda face mask to your face evenly and leave for 15 minutes. Wash off with clean water.
5. Baking Soda, Lemon Juice, and Coconut Oil
A tablespoon of baking soda mixed with ½ tablespoon of lemon juice and 1/8 teaspoon coconut oil is all you need for this baking soda face mask. Apply the mixture to the affected area for at least 1 to 2 minutes. You can use this mix at least once a week. If available, you can also infuse 2 to 4 drops of Tea tree oil to this concoction.
6. Baking Soda, Oat Flour, and Water or Honey
Combine 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of oat flour and enough water to make a paste. Another variation may be 3 tablespoons of baking soda, 5 teaspoons of oats, a tablespoon of honey and a few drops of water. Apply the mix to the problem area for 2 to 3 minutes before washing it off.
7. Baking Soda and Honey
For this baking soda face mask, you will need 3 tablespoons of baking soda and a teaspoon of honey to make a paste. This mix should be applied to the affected area for at least 15 minutes before you can wash it off with water.
8. Baking Soda, Lemon and Water
Take a teaspoon of baking soda and lemon juice then mix them with 2 teaspoons of warm water. Apply the mixture using a clean cotton ball. Leave it for 5 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with water.
9. Baking Soda and Apple Cider Vinegar
You will need 2 tablespoons of 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar for this mix. Leave the paste on the affected area for 15 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Finish it off with cold water to seal your pores. If you have sensitive skin, mix the apple cider vinegar with a tablespoon of water in creating this baking soda face mask.
10. Baking Soda and Strawberry
Take a tablespoon of baking soda and mix it with 1 mashed ripe strawberry. Apply to the affected area in a circular motion. Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes before washing it off with cool water.
As an added tip, make sure you wash off the mixture if you feel a tingling on your skin. If you have sensitive skin, it’s best that you do a skin test using any of the baking soda face masks in this list before applying it directly to your face. Finally, always moisturize after using any of these mixtures.
